Microbiology and Immunology

The microbiology portion of this course will introduce the student to the basic physiology of a bacterial cell as well as provide information about various pathogenic bacteria, viruses and parasites. Clinic diseases caused by each organism and their common western treatments well also be discussed. The immunology portion of this course will cover the basics of antigens and antibodies, and the various immune responses made in the body. Immunodeficiency as well as tumor and transplant immunity will also be discussed.
